This is going to be the first episode of the story as I know it.
Harry Robinson was born in Huntington Pennsylvania on November 11, 1893.
At some point after his birth and before he was eleven years old his parents died and he was given over to the custody of his uncle. I cannot imagine the hardship this small boy had to endure to make the choices he did at such a young age. It was around 1904/1905. Theodore Rosevelt was the president. I wonder if Harry new that Penn won the NCAA national championship, or that Einstein was proposing his theory of relativity. I wonder if he knew about the labor unrest that spurred the foundation of Industrial Workers of the World in Chicago? The railroad industry was in it’s most powerful era and the heart of that industry was in Pennsylvania. when Harry decided to His uncle was mean and beat him so at eleven years old he ran away from his uncle and joined a crew building train tracks as a water boy.
